Executive and Advisory Board

I am the Circulation Services Manager at the Cockeysville Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library With 35 years of experience, she has dedicated the majority of her career to BCPL, with a brief tenure at Harford Community College library. She has worked her entire career in circulation services, working her way up from part time shelver to full time circulation, supervisor, assistant manager and now her current role as manager, a title she has held for 23 years. She has led teams at BCPL in EDI Training, Customer Service Training and Staff Day Planning, as well as served on teams focused on jobs structure, post-pandemic re-entry and New Staff Hire Orientation, among others.

She has been a member of MLA for 20 years serving on several committees such as Nominations Committee, marketing committee, the strategic planning committee, Executive Search Committee and as President of the Support Staff Division. She is the current Vice President/President-elect of MLA.

Teonja is a Baltimore native and is married with 2 kids, a cat named Ginny and a dog name Nicco, who all keep her very busy. In her spare time, she loves to bake and increased her skills during the pandemic by watching the Great British Bake-off.
